I have absolutely nothing against Gran Turismo 5. Its graphics are sublime for a next-generation racing game, the replay value is near-endless and the cars control as adequately as any other title in the genre before it. My problem lies with those words: fans have been waiting for five years for this game- it didn't just have to be good, it had to be great, and this really isn't. To be honest my time with the game left me far too unsatisfied to call this anything other than a let-down. This is a short review with good reason- we've seen all this before in past entries of Gran Turismo, not to mention every other next-gen racer on the Playstation 3/Xbox 360 consoles so far.
