A key Game Of Thrones star joins Elementary for its final Season One episodes...CBS have this week announced the name of a new star joining their detective drama Elementary. It's confirmed that Natalie Dormer, aka Margery Tyrell in Game Of Thrones, will play none other than Irene Adler in the final three-episode arc of the show's first season. Adler remains a rather historic element of the Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes novel, despite having only ever appeared in the one story A Scandal In Bohemia, known to Sherlock and many of his fans simply as 'The Woman'. Lara Pulver provided us with a rousing rendition of the character in Sherlock Season Two last year, so Natalie has a lot to live up to, but we're sure based on her Thrones work that this flashback-based role (Moriarty has already killed Irene in Elementary's storyline before Episode 1) will be one to remember. Elementary continues every Tuesday on Sky Living at 8pm.
