Frozen Fever Announced

Source: The Wrap
Are those wedding bells we hear, or is it just the sound of the infectious original tunes that we STILL can't get out of our heads?
Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios have announced the production of a new animated mini-movie for global distribution next year. Titled Frozen Fever, the piece will act as a sequel (of sorts, anyway - is there really any doubt that Frozen 2 is on the way at some stage?) to Frozen, the hit 2013 big-screen musical which prompted critics and mainstream audiences alike to join together for a season-spanning standing ovation upon its momentous release.

The question is as follows, then - what's next for the good people of Arendell? Whilst Disney were predictably coy regarding the precise events of Fever's hotly-anticipated storyline (save for that it'll see Elsa attempting to keep her powers at bay as Anna and Kristoff plan their wedding ceremony), the studio did confirm that Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Adele Dazeem (sorry, Idina Menzel, who played Elsa - honestly, how could anyone be so foolish as to mix those names up, eh?) will all reprise their respective roles from the original film and that it'll present an entirely new song, doubtless spawning countless memes and eliciting "feels" galore just as numbers like "Let It Go" and "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" did last November. Speculation is already rife regarding which upcoming Disney blockbuster this sure-to-be-loved screen novella will be attached to, with next March's Cinderella the current favourite, but for all of the latest official news on what's fast becoming one of the most anticipated big-screen projects, keep it On-Screen in the weeks ahead.

Frozen Fever will send a chill into cinema-goers' hearts the world over in Spring 2015.
