If ever there was a company who needed to appeal to the hardcore with their new console, it's Nintendo, so thank goodness they brought key third party franchises in full force at their E3 conference. Sufficed to say, if you want a new instalment of your favourite series to play both on the TV and even on a portable controller, the WiiU is the place to go. Here's every game that was announced to form a part of the launch line-up:
- LEGO City Stories- an open world continuation of the LEGO franchise only found here and on 3DS.
- Smash Bros
- Darksiders II
- Ghost Recon: Online
- Metro: Last Light
- Aliens: Colonial Marines
- DIRT 3
- Tekken
- Assassin's Creed
- Batman: Arkham City
- Battlefield 3
- Harry Potter
- Burnout
- Madden NFL 13
If that's not evidence enough to be excited for Nintendo's next console, I don't know what is; the WiiU is due out in Summer 2012.
