New Halo 4 Details Revealed

Find out more about one of 2012's most hotly anticipated shooters!
Microsoft set off their hype-crazy promotional campaign for Halo 4 in full force at E3 2012 earlier this month, unveiling a stunning new demo for the sci-fi shooter that gave just a taste of what we can expect from the full retail package. Via a leaked survey on the sequel, a couple of interesting new details have been revealed about the project. The first concerns Spartan Ops, the 1-4 player additional DLC campaign that picks up from where the main storyline leaves up. The first 'season' of these free downloadable episodes will consist of fifty different missions, released in downloadable packs over the course of ten weeks in much the same vein as an American TV show. The kind of content 343 are offering for those who buy the game new rather than preowned is phenomenal here, and it definitely begs the question as to whether a 'Season Two' code may be readying itself to come along should the new missions prove a success. On top of that, it's estimated around ten new multiplayer maps will be added to the War Games online multiplayer segment via DLC in weeks to come too, though this will be offered at a reasonable price rather than as extra freebies. All the same, this is all shaping up to be one heck of a package, and fans and 360 owners would be fools to miss out on it! Halo 4 arrives on November 6th.
