Beenox’s latest video game effort, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, looks to be an underdog in the vast list of blockbuster titles hitting stores this Autumn. The superhero platformer sees the Webbed Wonder face off against the evil Anti-Venom in the year 2099 when the premature demise of Peter Parker in modern day shifts the balance of the timelines. Whether it will turn out to be as good as or better than Shattered Dimensions (8/10) remains to be seen, but with Smallville’s Laura Vandervoort on board as Mary-Jane Watson and Black Cat along for the ride, it’s guaranteed to be a thrilling experience for Spidey fans.
