Coming Up This Week: October 31st-November 6th

From a caped crusader to a treasure-hunting one...with Batman: Arkham City and Battlefield 3 (both getting reviewed here this week) both hitting stores last week, you'd be forgiven for thinking the Autumn of Gaming would be about to calm down, but that's not the case at all, as Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Sony's biggest exclusive of 2011, is on the way. There's more to come, too:
NEW MOVIES- Inspired by Inception, the huge new sci-fi thriller In Time hits the box office this week. In it, Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried find themselves caught in a war for time where failure warrants the ultimate price to be paid: their lives.
NEW SHOWS- It's time for Smallville to reach its end- in Finale: Part Two, Clark must face his oldest friend and adversary before flying to new heights as the Man of Steel. Meanwhile, Merlin is turned into the ultimate assassin by Morgana in Merlin: A Servant of Two Masters, Walden gets a disturbing message in the post in Two & A Half Men: The Squat and the Hover, House faces a new dilemma in House: Risky Business, an Irish exchange student arrives at McKinley High in Glee: Pot of Gold, Karl climbs Mount Fuji in An Idiot Abroad 2 and Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Warwick Davis showcase their new series in The Making of Life's Too Short.
NEW DVDS- Fantastic superhero prequel X-Men: First Class, hilarious Cameron Diaz comedy Bad Teacher, the fourth season of The Sarah Jane Adventures and the final season of Smallville hit stores this week. Plus, Fantasia and The Tree of Life come to Blu-Ray!
GAMES BLITZ- As I mentioned earlier, the Autumn of Gaming continues with a blast this Friday: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception; GoldenEye 007: Reloaded; Rabbids: Alive and Kicking and Sonic Generations all reach the shelves! We'll be getting the teaser trailer for Grand Theft Auto V as well on Wednesday, lest you forget.
