Disney Sets 2012/2013 3D Re-Releases

Fresh off the success of their recent re-release of The Lion King in 3D (which went down well in the States, and has just debuted at our box office), Disney have announced four more classic movies which will get the three-dimensional treatment over the course of the next two years:

• Beauty and the Beast (Original Release: November 1991; Re-Release: January 2012)
• Finding Nemo (Original Release: May 2003; Re-Release: September 2012)
• Monsters, Inc (Original Release: November 2001; Re-Release: January 2013, just before prequel Monsters University arrives that July)
• The Little Mermaid (Original Release: November 1989; Re-Release: September 2013)

3D rehases seem to be becoming the trend right now, with those, Star Wars and Titanic all returning for big-screen re-runs in 2012 and '13, but we'll just have to wait and see whether fans flock to watch their favourite movies again!
