Mass Effect: Galaxy At War Detailed

As if things couldn't get any more exciting regarding Mass Effect 3, BioWare have now teased a huge co-operative multiplayer mode, Galaxy At War, unveiling exciting new details about how the side campaign can affect your single player experience. You and up to three friends create your own soldiers (of any alien race), and must work as a team to take back planetary territories from the sinister Geth and the Reapers. While this campaign is going on, you fight as Shepherd in the main campaign to best the Reaper menace as a whole, but if you have friends to play then with Galaxy At War you can increase your 'Galactic Readiness' level to improve your chances of the majority of the universe's civilisations remaining intact when the war is over. It's an intriguing concept, and one I hope is utilised fully by the developer for both offline and online gamers. Mass Effect 3 hits on March 6th, 2012.
