Coming Up This Week: February 20th-26th

Find out which movies won Oscars, which artists won Brits and whether the PlayStation Vita is worth getting this week!
This week's a pretty busy one for the film and music industries, what with two of their biggest award ceremonies taking place, but things are otherwise more calm...
SWITCH ON THE TELLY- Most of the brilliant dramas for this quarter have left our screens now, but we do at least have a brand new episode of Being Human to look forward to and the return of House for an ambitious new case (the beginning of the end...) on Sky1.
AT THE MOVIES- This area of entertainment is rather lacking this week, unless thriller Safe House or kids' movie Red Dog are up your street, so why not catch the great The Muppets instead while it's still out?
GAME ON- Two exciting science-fiction shooters retail this week: Binary Domain, an RPG-style epic crafted by SEGA, and Syndicate, an exciting reboot featuring some innovative co-op features. Plus, the PlayStation Vita finally ships, so see what you think of the new handheld!
ON THE SHELVES- Hugh Jackman's Real Steel, David Tennant's Fright Night and Tom Hardy's Warrior all reach DVD and Blu-Ray retailers this week.
CRANK UP THE TUNES- Simple Minds and Band of Skulls make their returns to the charts with albums X5 and Sweet Sour in the next seven days, but will they make a big impact?
THE BRITS AND THE OSCARS- Who will come out top in these two prestigious award ceremonies? These are without a doubt some of their respective industries' biggest highlights of the annual schedule, so I can't wait to see the showmakers pull out all the stops for two fantastic nights of entertainment- the Oscars broadcast a week today, and the Brits are on Tuesday, so stay tuned for all of the big announcements!
ON THE BLOG- Those Metal Gear Solid HD and Kingdoms of Amalur reviews I promised you are definitely on their way this week, plus full coverage of the Brits and the Oscars and much, much more to come!
