Young Justice: Legacy Announced For 2013

Play as a young Justice League in a new kids' RPG next year!
Although it's perhaps not the faithful rendition of the DC Comics lore fans might perhaps have wanted, it's interesting to hear the confirmation from Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. that an RPG video game of their Young Justice cartoon series will be launching next year. Titled Young Justice: Legacy, the new title will pit twelve classic DC heroes against a dozen infamous villains, and feature various role-play elements to add some depth and replay value to the experience. Developer Little Orbit teased the project's storyline in the announcement press release: "Legacy contains a slew of cool features and a large playable cast of familiar heroes, but our core mission is to create a unique experience that fits seamlessly into the world of the show and offers a new way to interact with these popular characters." Some of us will admittedly be disappointed to recall that the series' main protagonists are new Justice League members such as Kid Speedy and Superboy, but nevertheless I can't help but think the target demographic of the show's child-friendly tone might be in for a real treat when Young Justice: Legacy ships on PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and DS in Spring 2013.
