Arkham City Pre-Release Round Up

Batman: Arkham City is very nearly here. Just two weeks away from its global release, the anticipated superhero game has been recieving a plethora of coverage on the web this week. Here are the important revelations you'll want to know:

• As well as Official PlayStation Magazine Australia's glowing 10/10 review, Play3 has awarded Arkham City an impressive 92%. The German magazine dubbed it "huge, beautiful and exciting", and once again "the best superhero game ever made." It shouldn't be long till we have Brit mag GamesMaster's verdict and the scores of the online press too!
• Play3 revealed that bonus Catwoman missions and the use of Catwoman in Challenge Mode can be unlocked by an online pass code included with the retail copies of the game. These extra missions will add around 3-4 hours of gameplay. It's a shame for those of us who usually play offline (myself included) that we need to find a way to get online for this and the Robin DLC, or wait for the Game of the Year edition in 2012, but it's at least a good way to ensure players buy it on day one rather than getting it preowned.
