The BBC have today released the first full trailer for Doctor Who's 2013 Christmas Special. Titled The Time of the Doctor, the feature-length episode will be the final instalment of the show to star Matt Smith as the Doctor, chronicling his incarnation's impossible regeneration in the midst of his final life.
After the incredible spectacle of The Day of the Doctor, Steven Moffat would have been viewed as logical had he elected to tone down the Eleventh Doctor's climactic escapade. That doesn't appear to be the case, though, with the latest preview (below) confirming that the Silence, the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Weeping Angels and Trenzalore all have key roles to play in the festive special!
