On-Screen Advent Adventure: Day Six

SHERLOCK: THE SIGN OF THREE PLOT SYNOPSIS RELEASED
The BBC Press Office have today released the first plot synopsis for the second episode of Sherlock's new series. Titled The Sign of Three, the penultimate instalment of the latest run is written by Stephen Thompson and is loosely based on the events of Arthur Conan Doyle's short story The Sign of the Four.

As you'll see, it appears love is in the air for a certain member of the show's ensemble as Series Three continues. The official plot brief is as follows: "Sherlock faces his biggest challenge of all- delivering a Best Man's speech on John's wedding day! But all is not quite as it seems. Mortal danger stalks the reception- and someone might not make it to the happy couple's first dance. Sherlock must thank the bridesmaids, solve the case and stop a killer." Just some speculation here, but could Lars Miekkelsen's villain set to début in the series finale His Last Vow hold a grudge against Sherlock and Watson, and intend to get his revenge before Holmes' final case? The truth will emerge next month...

Sherlock returns to BBC One with The Empty Hearse on New Year's Day 2014, The Sign of Three on January 5th, 2014 and His Last Vow on January 12th, 2014.
