New-Look Xbox World Magazine Released
Issue 109 of the visually revamped Xbox World has been released in British newsagents today. Formerly Xbox World 360, through its new look and tagline of 'Smarter Xbox Gaming', the publication team hope to appeal to hardcore gamers and provide regular coverage on all types of titles whenever big pieces of news emerge for them. Xbox World is split into five main sections: Day One, which opens the issue by giving new details and hands-on impressions with the biggest games; Primer, featuring interviews with the big gaming honchos and the latest bits and bobs of news from the last month; Upgrade, boasting cheats and gimmicks which guarantee you'll want to buy the game to try them; Reviews, giving full verdicts on newly released products; and Live, the best place for coverage on everything happening on the Xbox Live Network. You also get a nifty DVD with a fully-fledged TV show produced by the World team, including a walkthrough demo from Batman: Arkham City where two of the team give their impressions and predictions, the top five trailers for new games and a retrospective of Halo: Combat Evolved's Silent Cartogropher level. This programme really is a breath of fresh air considering the lack of any comprehensive video gaming TV show on freeview or Sky at the moment, and I really look forward to seeing what the team have up their sleeves for the next few months, which promise to be some of the most eventful we've had in a good while! So I'd heartily recommend you purchase Xbox World Issue 109, out now for just a fiver at all good stockists.
