So The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, possibly the biggest fantasy RPG of this generation, has finally hit stores everywhere. I'll be providing my definitive verdict on the game very soon, but before that, let's take a look at the reviews from critics so far...
IGN (95%)- "A rare kind of intensely personal, deeply rewarding experience, Skyrim is one of the best role-playing games yet produced."
OFFICIAL XBOX MAGAZINE (10/10)- "It may frustrate you at times, but it will work its way inside your skin and replace the marrow of your bones. It never gives you an opportunity to neatly stop playing- see you in Spring!"
EDGE (90%)- "A world of ice and fire that delivers more than most games attempt."
SFX (5/5)- "Skyrim tops Tolkien for vision and almost every game for sheer quality. Finish Batman: Arkham City quick, because once this begins you're not playing anything else for months."
GAMESRADAR (10/10)- "It's sprawling, generous, gorgeous and ambitious. It does what few games can- it could be possible to play only this game for the next year and still not discover all of its mysteries."
METACRITIC AVERAGE: 95%
