Russell Tovey has announced that he will leave Being Human before the opening episode of its fourth series. The BBC Three drama stars Tovey as a werewolf in disguise who befriends other supernatural creatures and who must protect the Earth from those who choose to misuse their super powers. Tovey said: "I'm going to miss Aidan [Turner, a fellow co-star who recently departed]. I didn't want to do it without Aidan and I wanted to leave on a high. It just felt like it was time. For me three is the magic number". Tovey's character George will make a cameo appearance in an episode of Series Four to explain his sudden exit; Being Human returns early next year.
