Will we unearth the secrets of the Animus on the big-screen in 2013?Earlier this year, Ubisoft's film studio confirmed they had a big-screen adaptation of the Assassin's Creed games franchise in the works. Later on, we then got confirmation that Michael Fassbender would star in the (currently unannounced) lead role for the motion picture. And now? Now it seems that we know just when the film will arrive, and it's sooner than you think: 2013. As staggering as it may seem, the promotional team for the flick are indicating that it will either release in cinemas late next year or early in 2014. If it's that the former, then it's pretty damn impressive for a feature film of this calibre, but to be fair The Muppets 2 is doing the same thing, so perhaps it's possible? The Assassin's Creed movie will get plenty more details revealed here at On-Screen very soon...
