Our thoughts on the second episode in the Morgana-Gwen arc...Merlin's barrelling towards its conclusion now, with Episode 8- The Hollow Queen- having broadcast last week. We've got the full review of the latest instalment of the fantasy drama from yours truly over at WhatCulture now. In the episode, the possessed Gwen manipulated an old foe of Morgana's to attempt to assassinate Arthur, only for Merlin to return from a trip abroad with Deagal to save the day in nick of time. It was another great romp, earning the third consecutive strong 4* rating from me in a row in what has recently been a consistent run of adventures.
