Television programmes are coming thick and fast in the Summer months, and while On-Screen is gone for a bit there's quite a lot on to watch. Here are my picks of what's looking most promising:
DOCTOR WHO (SATURDAYS, MAY 14TH-JUNE 4TH)- If you haven't already been watching the sixth season of Who, there's no better time to start watching then now with a great standalone episode then three more plot-heavy stories that will lead into a massive, three month-spanning cliffhanger involving (but not limited to) the identity of River Song!
HOUSE (THURSDAYS, MAY 9TH-30TH)- One of my personal favourites, Hugh Laurie's drug addicted medic has four episodes left to change his way, but what will be the effects of finale Moving On?
GLEE (MONDAYS, MAY 9TH-JUNE 6TH)- This year's Glee run has been much stronger and more well-rounded than the first season, and that looks to continue with a Lady GaGa special, a story about rumours, a funeral involving the Sylvester family, prom and the finale at Nationals, so keep watching...
THE RICKY GERVAIS SHOW (TUESDAYS, MAY 9TH-JUNE 7TH)- Hilarious stuff, The Ricky Gervais Show is an animated comedy featuring the intense discussions of Gervais, Stephen Merchant and the oh-so-misguided Karl Pilkington. Enjoy An Idiot Abroad? You'll love this.
SMALLVILLE (US: THIS FRIDAY, UK: MONDAYS, JUNE 6TH-NOVEMBER)- In America, hit drama Smallville is about to climax with Finale, and you can catch my full review of Clark Kent's final step to becoming Superman in half term, but the tenth season hasn't even started here yet, so you've got a whole lot to look forward to!
