You'd be forgiven for thinking that after two weeks of complex, spine-chilling adventures on Doctor Who, the show might calm down and approach its next episode with a lighter tone, but that couldn't be less the case with The Curse Of The Black Spot, a spooky pirate story taking place solely on the high seas of 1696. Not too much has been revealed as of yet, however we do know some facts about Episode Three...
THE SIREN- Lily Cole plays a ghostly figure haunting the pirate ship, killing off the crew of Captain Avery (Hugh Bonneville) one by one and leaving her mark in the form of a black spot- which now seems to be on Rory's hand...
THE BATTLE- Expect swashbuckling aplenty as Amy fights to save the Doctor from walking the plank!
THE QUESTIONS- The opening two-parter left us with a lot of unexplained mysteries, and while I wouldn't go expecting them to be solved this week, we can probably expect the series arc to develop in some form.
THE RETURN- We know that one character from Episodes 1-2 will return, but who? Could it be the Eye Patched Lady Amy saw in the orphanage and who disappeared from behind a door with a panel...?
THE TENSION- Finally, how will Amy and Rory find concealing their deadly secret for another week?!?
All will be revealed this Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One!
