Glee Live Coming To Cinemas

Gleeks worldwide are in for a real treat this Summer, with a 3-D movie of the Glee Live concert confirmed to hit cinemas. The film, titled Glee Live! 3D! (not sure about the need for two exclamation marks, but still look what programme I'm talking about!), will show performances from across the international tour of hit songs from Season One like Don't Stop Believin, Take A Bow and other much-loved numbers, as well as taking viewers behind the scenes to see what went on backstage and how the production came about in the first place. Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the show, said that the aim of making a feature film was "to bring the concert experience to movie theatres across the country in full three dimensional glory", promising every fan "a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles." Glee Live! 3D! will run for two weeks from August 12th in America before running for a further fortnight in the UK, and while I've never seen a concert movie before if there's nothing else on and I can find someone with a good enough sense of humour to come and see it, you may get a review of the flick this August...
