Yet another delay for 2013's biggest first-person shooter...
Irrational Games have this week confirmed the sad news that their upcoming fantasy first-person shooter BioShock Infinite has suffered a second announced delay. Earlier this year, Infinite was pushed back to February 2013 as a result of 2K Games believing the title could a) do with some polishing and b) fare better in a launch period which wasn't swamped with big franchises like Halo, Call Of Duty and Assassin's Creed. Well, it now seems that polishing of the game's solitary campaign (no multiplayer here, folks!) has become the primary focus for the developers, as that's cited as the main reason for the new setback of the project. With the revelation of the box art and a new trailer at the Spike Video Game Awards, Infinite is clearly just about ready to release, but all the same thank goodness Irrational are so focused on quality. BioShock Infinite will now ship on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 26th, 2013.
