We're moving into the very last weeks of 2012, with just a few big entertainment releases left to hit our shores before the New Year kicks in. Thankfully, what is still to come is plentiful and exciting, with this week marking another seven epic days for the world of entertainment. Here's everything that you can expect in the days ahead...
THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY- It's time to begin...as Bilbo Baggins sets off on a quest with thirteen Dwarves and a mysterious wizard to reclaim the lost gold of Erebor from Smaug, the Hobbit has no idea of the terrors and thrills that await him. In The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the company will face trolls, goblins, Wargs, soothsayers, riddlers, elves and Eagles- not to mention a mysterious golden ring that holds the fate of Middle-Earth in the balance, in what is guaranteed to be a superb Film Of The Year contender for the ages! (Thursday 13th)
SUMMER TRAILERS- Along with The Hobbit are coming two big new teasers for big instalments in the Summer Of Film: first up, there's Star Trek Into Darkness, getting its full footage debut after the original teaser, and Man Of Steel, the superhero film that just might be 2013's biggest surprise. Expect big shocks in these big previews! (Thursday 13th)
AN IDIOT ABROAD FINALE- Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington are bringing their hit documentary series An Idiot Abroad to its final end this week. As Karl and Warwick discover more surprises in the country of India, so too will we viewers recieve a good deal of warm-hearted laughs this festive season to see the charming comedy off with a bang. (Friday 14th)
MERLIN: THE DRAWING OF THE DARK- On the plainn of Camlann, only one thing is now certain: the great battle of Camelot is on the horizon. When Mordred finds a druid girl whose life is placed in ultimate danger by the Knights' discovery of her sorcery, loyalties will be tested to their limit- Merlin must make a fateful choice to keep his King safe, but could it be this very decision which leads to the Once And Future King's very doom?...(Saturday 15th)
