The On-Screen Advent Calendar 2012: Day Ten

TOP 5 FESTIVE VIDEO GAMES
In this time of festive Yuletide spirit, there's plenty of reasons to stay in the warmth and wrap up with some quality entertainment this Christmas. Below, you'll see a list where I compile together five brilliant video game experiences that can offer comfort on the cold nights entailing the fifteen days left until December 25th arrives. See what you think...
5. PORTAL 2- What better way to relive all of the laughs and thrills of Christmas Day than with this sensational, upbeat sequel? Portal 2 is layered completely in greatness, and Stephen Merchant's iconic Wheatley is enough to warm up any winter night with absolute ease!
4. LEFT 4 DEAD- Okay, so this one may seem a tad bit of an odd choice, but hear me out. What with the impending Mayan apocalypse, it's a good idea to be ready for just about everything, even if the result is a rising invasion by the undead. In that small eventuality, Left 4 Dead will help you out greatly, so either try that, Dead Rising, Call Of Duty: Black Ops or ZombiU for further guidance!
2. LEGO THE LORD OF THE RINGS/ASSASSIN'S CREED III- A joint ranking for two fantastic games here. Why not get some snow into your gaming life this Christmas, either in the woods of revolutionary America or on the pass of Caharadas as the Fellowship of the Ring near the Mines of Moria? If snow is something that gets you in the festive mood, then you'll know exactly where to go in the next few days ahead...
1. BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY- Finally comes a game which actually reacts to the Date and Time of your console being set to December 25th! Visit Calendar Man beneath the Courthouse where you find Two-Face in Arkham City, and he'll impart a very special message about an unlucky soul he's had the pleasure of making good work of not weeks before his incarceration. Festive stuff, I'm sure you'll agree!
