Kingdom Hearts 3DS Title Named

The Kingdom Hearts games continue to increase on popularity with each passing instalment- in just a few short years, Kingdom Hearts 2, 358/2 Days and now (hopefully) the latest title for the Nintendo 3DS, which we now know is titled Dream Drop Distance. As usual, that's a pretty weird heading, but it at least suggests where the franchise might head, tasking Sora and Riku with entering the realm of dreams as a trial for becoming key-blade masters. You'll be able to play as the latter for the first time, and also to switch between the two characters at will. With any luck, the 3-D capabilities of Nintendo's latest handheld will allow for some plat-forming sections not as held back by the camera as before, and there's only a few months until we discover what the 'shocking ending' the series producer said Dream Drop Distance will finish with, leading into (wait for it...) Kingdom Hearts 3, the long awaited final instalment in the Sony-exclusive trilogy (though rumour has it it'll hit Xbox 360 to get every gamer involved upon its release). Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance lands on 3DS this summer!
