What do you get when you mix Chris Evans (previously the Human Torch on the Fantastic Four flicks) with one of Marvel's most beloved classic heroes of all time? This, apparently: Captain America will release this July at cinemas worldwide just two months after the Thor movie (also by producer Marvel Studios) begins to tie in some of the plot strands involving superhero team The Avengers that will result in a movie sharing the team's title in 2012 (presumably Captain America will lead directly into that, so get excited!). Finally the first image of Evans' costume- brought up to date despite the flick taking place in World War Two- has arrived on the internet, and fans can already sleep safe in the knowledge that the iconic red and white shield and the colours of the American flag adorn the suit. Whether Evans will adopt a wildly different approach to the US hero in this year's adaptation remains to be seen, but expect a trailer very soon!
