ComicCon: Days One-Two News & Trailer Roundup

All the latest news and reveals straight from ComicCon's floor!
The annual ComicCon convention is always a great time for the scale of entertainment news to ramp up once more after the traditional Summer slump, and this year's event has proved no different in this respect. Today, I'm able to share with you a whole host of exciting new tidbits and trailer reveals, while assuring you that this is just the beginning. Expect more on Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron; The Hobbit; Man Of Steel, loads more releases and of course Doctor Who itself over the weekend! For now, though, here's a roundup of what's been shown in the past few days. I've only included firm details and reveals released online, as until we get official press releases of footage from panels like Twilight and Skyfall then there's little point relaying on rumours and unofficial reports. Here we go...
  • GEARS OF WAR: JUDGEMENT- Epic Games have now confirmed that the latest entry in their Gears Of War Xbox 360 video game franchise, Judgement, will release on its exclusive console in March 2013. This pretty much confirms that all of the big current-generation releases of 2013 are coming our way in the first half of the year, fuelling the speculation that the next half of the year will be an extremely busy next-gen launch period!
  • OZ: THE GREAT & POWERFUL- The first full trailer for this very promising new Disney prequel movie has launched online, starring James Franco and Mila Kunis, and you can see it in all its glory below. Oz flies into cinemas in March 2013 too.
  • FRANKENWEENIE- Another exciting film from Disney, Frankenweenie is an animated mock-horror comedy that's on its way to cinemas in October. A brand new trailer for the flick is available for public eyes to devour, and again you can catch it below.
  • HALO 4: FORWARD UNTO DAWN- As well as bringing us a fully-fledged sequel to Halo 3, 343 Industries are working on a live-action Halo mini-series to bring us online in the weeks leading up to their game's release. Titled Forward Unto Dawn, the series will broadcast this Autumn and focus on a lone soldier inspired by the Master Chief in his UNSC training to defeat Covenant insurrectionists. And you guessed it, the trailer's below...
  • MASS EFFECT: PARAGON LOST- This new anime film is being brought to the small screen early next year. Whether it will take place within the Mass Effect trilogy's narrative or not remains to be seen, but it'll certainly be exciting to see an outside team's take on the franchise. If you haven't already guessed where the video for this is, then try to keep up!
  • ASSASSIN'S CREED III- Finally, Ubisoft Montreal have elected to give us a full gameplay walkthrough of the Boston city level they unveiled at E3. It isn't in peak HD condition here, but the signs are looking pretty darn promising so far. ACIII is still set on course for its October 31st release, though the PC version has now been delayed to near Christmas.
I'll provide any more major ComicCon updates here on the blog as they come, with another big news and trailer roundup coming your way too on Monday.
