First Transformers 3 Trailer Hits
It's coming: Transformers 2 (2/5) let us down on a major scale as Michael Bay tried horrendously to mix romance and comedy with giant robot battles and slow-motion jargon, to the point that minutes seemed like hours in cinemas on release day, but now director Bay hopes to correct his mistakes with the final instalment Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and the first trailer is online now. Dark of the Moon takes place first in 1969 as the Apollo 11 landing is made and the "one small man..." line we all know to heart makes history- but it turns out merely reaching the Moon wasn't the target of that great expedition. Nope, it was because the government had discovered a Decepticon (the series antagonists) ship on the dark side of the Moon (hence the title), and wanted to confirm just what was inside- a recipe for chaos, we can bet! Later on, we'll move back to 2011 Earth as lead hero Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) must face up to the threat that history has awakened with the help of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and his reportedly-hot new crush Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whitely). There's no sign of the modern sections in this teaser, but if Bay can bring this out from the depths then be sure for an ace film next July...here's the video: http://www.sfx.co.uk/2010/12/09/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-first-trailer/
