Game not over, man!
Believe it or not, SEGA's licensed shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines looks to me like one of 2012's most exciting games yet. This week has seen an equally intriguing development from Creative Assembly, a team which have been working on an Aliens game of their own. Far from simply spanning consoles like the PS3, 360 and Wii in their iteration of Ridley Scott's award-winning science fiction ftanchise, Creative Assembly have released a job application post that states their latest title will also be available for "future generation consoles". This could of course simply be referring to the WiiU, but in reality it seems like the developers have got their hands on the PlayStation 4 and indeed the Xbox 720 as many others have been rumoured to have done so in the past few months. If this is the case, then don't be too surprised if we do hear murmurings of the next full hardware Microsoft and Sony have to offer at E3. Aliens: Colonial Marines will ship this Autumn.
