PS2 Classics For HD Rerelease
Return to a simpler time on the PlayStation 3 courtersy of Square Enix!More and more these days, we're getting 'HD Collections' of some of our most beloved classic video gaming franchises. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Devil May Cry HD Collection, they're all great new renders of these fabled icons of this industry, but now Square Enix are taking the initiative one step further by resurrecting some forgotten gems of the past generation. Over the course of the next week, the PlayStation Network will play host to the HD re-releases of the following games: Just Cause; Deus Ex; Conflict: Desert Storm 2 and Conflict: Vietnam. Each of these titles were well recieved upon their initial releases, but now have diminshed somewhat in the memory, especially with Just Cause 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution having been debuted in the past two years. Thus, it's a great idea by Square Enix to show them off once more in hi-def, and perhaps to convince newer gamers to check out past hits as the new generation of consoles beckons. Each of Square Enix's HD remakes will retail on the PSN this coming week.
