UK Film Charts: April 23rd-29th

Movie-goers assemble to shake up the charts!
As expected, the brilliant Avengers Assemble has raced to the top of the charts this week. The new superhero ensemble flick has gone down a storm both critically (with an average score of 80%) and commercially, debuting with £15.4 million earnings- that's more than what The Dark Knight, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and every other superhero film has got in its opening weekend, and certainly again like The Hunger Games this stands as one of the biggest openings of all time. Congrats to Disney and Marvel, then, and long may the success continue...
