Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's new project isn't too far away!
We've had Shaun Of The Dead. We've had Hot Fuzz. Now, it's time for something new. A few months back, Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Nick Frost confirmed that they were starting work on The World's End, the final instalment in their alleged Cornetto Trilogy. Production on this epic finale has now been revealed to kick off this August. The new film will focus on a group of immature adults trying to rekindle their friendship, before they realise that they need to do so desperately, lest the entire human race meet its end as a result of their petty squabbles. You can expect a gripping sci-fi plot (perhaps akin to Paul?) and laughs aplenty from the terrific trio, and as usual don't be surprised to see Frost taking time out for one of everyone's favourite ice creams at some point. The World's End is scheduled for release in late 2013.
