New LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Voice Artist Confirmed

Source: DC Entertainment
Cometh the hour, cometh the beloved thespian - we couldn't be more thrilled by this development if we possibly tried!
Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment have today announced the identity of another actor who's lending his voice to TT Games' much-anticipated third-person action-adventure platforming video game LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. As well as marking the third fully-fledged outing in the insanely popular LEGO Batman sub-series, the direct successor to LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (and the spiritual successor to LEGO Marvel Superheroes, another fine-if-flawed outing courtesy of TT) will purportedly propel the franchise to new aesthetic and technical heights by finally taking advantage of next-gen hardware to a greater extent than its ancestors.

Learning just who'll be portraying the Green Arrow vocally mightn't seem like a particularly compelling revelation at first to some, but anyone with even a passing interest in either the televised incarnation of the DC universe and / or this blog will undoubtedly know why our excitement to see Beyond Gotham hit shelves has just been multiplied tenfold. Suffice to say that the man in question has plenty of experience in the ways of the aforementioned superheroic archer and, better yet, will receive the chance to interact with the Flash both on video games consoles and on TV this Autumn. Have you guessed his identity yet, dear reader? If not, then we shan't keep you in suspense any longer. Here's the official announcement tweet in all of its majestic glory:
That's right, folks - Stephen Amell, Arrow's lead star and a soon-to-be guest star in its spin-off The Flash, will voice Green Arrow in Beyond Gotham's main campaign, as well as in any relevant side missions. In short, you're welcome. Keep it locked at On-Screen for all the latest details on this Autumn's hottest AAA video game titles as and when said info arrives (plus verdicts aplenty on the aforementioned products, although those reviews are likely to land towards the end of the year depending on our other commitments - stay tuned, in other words!).

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham commences its launch sequence for a space flight quite unlike any other on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, PC and Mac consoles everywhere this November 14th (in the UK, at least - it'll land in the States on November 11th).
