Academy Awards 2014 Nominees Shortlist Announced

Get ready for predictable inclusions and snubs aplenty, as the film industry's most uninspired awards shortlist is unveiled.
The Academy Awards judging panel yesterday announced the full shortlist of nominees for their 2014 awards ceremony. Currently scheduled to broadcast in March, the ceremony will be themed around the heroes of cinema, (supposedly) recognising some of the defining motion picture productions of the past twelve months.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that there's a lot to get through in this case, so let's waste no further time. Here's our definitive round-up of the Academy Awards 2014 nominees shortlist:
