You've STILL got a friend in them, as the Toy Story team return for a final TV outing.Walt Disney Pictures and ABC have today announced the production of Toy Story That Time Forgot for broadcast this Winter. A festive follow-up to last Halloween's charming short Toy Story Of Horror!, the feature-length animated programme will again take place after the events of the acclaimed 2010 film Toy Story 3.
As you might hope from a show carrying the title of one of the most prestigious Disney franchises to date, all of the central cast members that we know and love are back for a final turn as their characters. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Kristen Schaal (Trixie the Triceratops), Wallace Shawn (Rex), Timothy Dalton (Mr Pricklepants), Don Rickles (Mr Potato Head) and Joan Cusack (Jessie) are all present and accounted for, plus Grey's Anatomy's Kevin McKidd guest stars as Reptillus Maximus, the leader of a supposedly perfect set of action figures who turn out to be "dangerously delusional". A fourth full Toy Story film isn't impossible, of course, but for the foreseeable future, this is the end...
Toy Story That Time Forgot will air this Christmas on ABC and Sky Movies Première.
