Gears of War 3? Turns out it was the release date for one of 2011's most anticipated shooters. Epic Games will début
GoW3 today and tomorrow at a Microsoft showcase exclusive to the press in San Francisco, then gamers can play out Marcus Fenix's final science fiction battles on September 20th! As far as we can see from release dates of other big names (there aren't many revealed yet, but critics are guessing),
Gears is going to get itself out into the world of gaming first to make a big impact and set the standard for other titles due out in the second half of the year. For all the trailers and my hands-on with the beta when it hits Xbox 360 this Spring, keep checking back at On-Screen!
