Doctor Who Season Six is fast looking to be one of the best series of the show since its return in 2005 as the identities of the Silence and River Song are revealed and the run of thirteen episodes is split into two exciting plot arcs over Spring and Autumn, but now things seem even more interesting as David Walliams has announced he will join the cast for one story. Speaking to the press today, Walliams revealed he would play an "alien" in the first half of the series (currently filming in Cardiff, consisting of seven episodes and premièring in early April), but couldn't disclose anything else on who he would portray. As I've previously said, this year will be very light on spoilers on this blog as I felt some of the best moments of Season Five were ruined for me by knowing hints of them, but nevertheless great stuff!
