The Potter author goes Casual this Autumn...The recently announced new novel on its way from J.K Rowling is called A Casual Vacancy, the author has confirmed on her blog. The piece will follow the town of Pagford, home to social wars aplenty and in desperate need of a new member of the parish council to set things straight before it's too late. Based on those details alone, we might think this to be a more subtle affair than Rowling's past Harry Potter series of children's fiction, but I would be surprised if this turns out to be anything but a unique and compelling work of fiction that showcases Jo's literary talents in a whole different light. A Casual Vacancy will be published on September 27th.
