The Woman In Black Sequel Announced

Yep, you read right...
Hammer Films have today confirmed the production of a sequel to this February's hit horror movie The Woman In Black. If you have already seen the original, you'll know that protagonist Arthur Kipps (played by Daniel Radcliffe) meets his death along with his family at the hands of the titular female ghost, so the likeliehood of the Potter star returning for the second film is slim to say the least. Set 40 years after the first one, The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death sees a married couple come to live in the house that the eponymous Woman haunts, but nevertheless it's hard to feel like Hammer isn't just milking the cash cow a little further here on the basis of their first flick in ages doing so damn well in the cinemas. Still, Angels Of Death could provide some good scares for fans of the original even with its new cast if the writers and directors play their cards right. Expect the sequel to hit sometime in late 2013 or early 2014.
