It's been three years now since
LEGO Batman: The Videogame (6/10) ka-powed it's way onto the video gaming scene, but we recently got confirmation that the Dark Knight and his pals will be back in a fully-fledged sequel next year. There is speculation now that the new game will be called
LEGO Batman 2: Super Heroes, following up on the new
LEGO Super Heroes getting implemented to coincide with the releases of superhero flicks like
Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance, The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man and
The Dark Knight Rises throughout 2012. Rumour has it we'll see the likes of Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman as playable characters, so expect a better storyline to follow than the dull Arkham Asylum break-out of the first game. We'll be getting details from Travellers Tales on the title very soon;
LEGO Batman 2: Super Heroes will release in Autumn 2012.
