Epic's announcement of
Fornite, which looks to be a comedic animated game featuring bullets and zombies (the perfect combination of gaming?), was perhaps the biggest surprise of the Spike VGAs last night, a far cry from their previous projects
Gears of War and
Bulletstorm. There's not much more to say than just take a look at the trailer- it doesn't reveal much, and I'd wager we won't find out more until early next year.
Fortnite has been confirmed as a zombie-survival sandbox title, though, and is set for release in 2012.
