The Cap is back on screens next year...Marvel Studios have today revealed the first plot synopsis and the full cast list for their new superhero film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Taking place after the events of 2011's The First Avenger and 2012's Avengers Assemble, this new entry will focus on Captain America and Black Widow in their latest terrifying mission for SHIELD.
Firstly, here's the synopsis: "Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick up where Marvel's The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanov, a.k.a. Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in Washington D.C." It's a great premise for the film, especially with the confirmation that this will essentially be the standalone Black Widow film for Avengers Phase Two that many fans were clamouring for.
