Marvel News: X-Men, LEGO Game Update

Get all the latest news on Days Of Future Past and LEGO Marvel Superheroes right here!
We've had a couple of intriguing developments on the Marvel films and video games front today. Firstly, X-Men: First Class star January Jones has confirmed that she will not be appearing in the superhero sequel Days Of Future Past next year- here's what she had to say on this matter: "No, they're going into another time period, or they're going back and forth between different time periods and Emma's not in that. Not in what they're doing." Some fans will likely be sad to hear that Emma Frost won't return, yet her role in the first prequel film wasn't exactly substantial, so perhaps it's for the best.

Meanwhile, Travellers' Tales have today released brand new screenshots for LEGO Marvel Superheroes. The developer has confirmed that one portion of the multi-layered narrative will focus on cosmic bricks falling to Earth from the Silver Surfer's cracked surfboard and heroes such as the Avengers and Spider-Man racing to stop old foes such as the Sandman and the Abomination from harnessing their power. You can see all the stunning new screenshots below.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes lands on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita this Autumn, while X-Men: Days Of Future Past travels into cinemas worldwide on July 18th, 2014.
