Agent Coulson Lives this Autumn!
Marvel Studios have today confirmed the full name of their upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. television show. Set to air its first season on ABC later this year (provided all goes fine with the pilot), the drama will focus on Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson in the aftermath of Avengers Assemble. But...didn't Coulson die in that glorious superhero spectacular? Well, yes- or so it seemed, which means there's a heck of a mystery to be solved!
The show will be called Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD, and we've today recieved the first full synopsis for the first season: "Joss Whedon shows us not all heroes are super with Agents Of SHIELD. Agent Phil Coulson returns to the worldwide law enforcement organisation to put together a small, highly trained team of Agents to tackle the case that haven't been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. Prepare for an epic adventure that showcases the hope and wonder of the human spirit. This is a world of Super Heroes, of aliens and the unusual- of action, spectacle and world-spanning stories. The story will speak to the human condition through the lenses of our very human, non-powered agents- that together we are greater than we are apart, and that we can make a difference in the world."
Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD premières on ABC (and presumably Sky Atlantic) this Autumn.
