A round-up of what we're bringing your way this month.
On-Screen's two-year anniversary is just ten days away. Wow. What an achievement, and what an interesting time to look back on all that's happened in the last twenty four months, as well as what's coming up for the rest of 2012 and beyond. Features from that aplenty will appear on the blog very soon, but there's much more too to look forward to...
TELLY COVERAGE- It's not too busy a month on this front, but I'll be bringing you more reviews of new episodes of House, Glee and Being Human in weeks to come, as well as previewing what the second quarter of 2012 holds for our television sets!
BIG SCREEN COVERAGE- This is certainly an exciting time for the movie industry, with loads of big new movies coming well before the wave of sequels and remakes in the Summer of Film. Expect reviews of Wanderlust, John Carter, The Hunger Games and Wrath of the Titans before the end of the month, as well as all the latest news and trailers for this year's biggest upcoming movies!
GAME ON- There's really only one MASSIVE video games release this month (and this quarter, if we're being honest), and that's Mass Effect 3: the culmination to BioWare's epic sci-fi trilogy, it promises to be an early Game of the Year contender, and I'm counting down the days until I can start playing it. Our full review will be released early the next week, with the Kinect and multiplayer features provided with a definitive verdict too. Other than that, loads of news from the Microsoft Spring Showcase tomorrow, including Halo 4, Fable: Heroes and Forza: Horizon, plus the first trailer for Assassin's Creed III debuts at 4.30pm.
READ ALL ABOUT IT- More new Marvel Graphic Novel Collection hardback reviews are on their way, including Iron Man: Extremis, The Ultimates: Super-Human and The Amazing Spider-Man: Birth Of Venom, plus I'll rate Skulduggery Pleasant: The End Of The World, Blood Red Road, Dara O'Brian: Tickling The English and A Monster Calls. And of course, I'll provide the first thoughts on the Carnegie shortlist which will be announced on March 27th...
AND...We'll be bringing you a wave of world exclusives, from beta tests of Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Hunger Games Adventures to reviews of Dara O'Brian's live tour and lots more new releases. In addition, we'll reveal the Q1 2012 Awards for the first three months of 2012, including Best Film, Best Game, Best Single and Best TV Episode, as well as our Most Anticipated Releases Of Q2 2012.
