The GAME group have confirmed that their video game high-street chain may be closed down early next week. The company filed for administration today, presumably with no other avenues to pursue than potentially being bought out by an American chain. We already saw the signs earlier this month, what with Mass Effect 3, The Sims 3: Showtime and Street Fighter X Tekken not having been made available at GAME in March, but nevertheless it's a huge shame to see that we may not see what is undoubtedly Britain's biggest and most successful games retailer living on to develop and bloom anymore. We'll find out the truth for sure early next week, so stay tuned.
