It's time to head State-side...Despite a number of leaks, the build-up to today's first trailer and details for Assassin's Creed III has been sustained, and boy oh boy has what we've been given been worth the wait. As well as the epic preview you can see below, Ubisoft have revealed ACIII "is powered by Ubisoft-AnvillNext, a revolutionary new game engine that delivers breakthroughs in visual quality, character models and artificial intelligence", the level of which they hope will be able to match early next-generation games in terms of quality. As if that weren't enough, the publisher teases that the game "features the franchise's most expansive setting so far (from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields), along with an exciting new hero and exponentially more gameplay". We're promised more details will be in the new UK OXM, OPM and NGamer mags this month, but for now catch the brilliant first trailer. Assassin's Creed III will release on Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3 AND WiiU on October 31st.
