What with Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron only coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 this Autumn, you might think Hasbro are ditching Nintendo in their strive to bring video game adaptations of everyone's favourite toy robot line to their audience, but you'd be wrong. NowPro and Activision have announced the release of Transformers Prime: The Game on Wii, DS and 3DS this week. Adapted from the popular kids' animated series, the game sees the Autobots attempting to thwart a plot by Megatron to build a secret super weapon that will destroy Earth. It's a typical episodic set-up that wouldn't be out of place in the series itself, yet I have no doubt that it will hit the mark bang on for its target audience anyway. Transformers Prime: The Game will retail here this Autumn; more details on its gameplay features are expected in months to come alongside new reveals for Fall Of Cybertron.
