This year's big sci-fi comedy? It could well be!The Summer of Film is always a busy one for sequels, prequels and remakes, as evidenced by the presence of The Avengers, Men In Black III, Ice Age 4, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Bourne Legacy for starters in this year's sunny period, so it's nice to see new and innovative films stepping onto centre stage too in one of the year's best times for the industry. This year it looks like Neighbourhood Watch could be one such example of something unique: a science-fiction comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, it involves a band of friends teaming up to patrol their town, only to discover an extraterresterial plot to destroy the Earth that forces them to act fast. Don't expect a revolution, but expect tons of laughs and a generally great night out judging by this first trailer. Neighbourhood Watch hits cinemas on July 27th.
